Official ticket · Antwerp's largest Rubens collection · ★4.6 from 48 reviews
While Rubens's house is being restored, the KMSKA is where you see him at full strength. The Royal Museum of Fine Arts reopened in 2022 after more than ten years of renovation, and its historic galleries hold the city's largest group of his paintings.
Around them hang works by his pupil Anthony van Dyck, by Jan van Eyck and the Flemish primitives, and, in the new modern wing, by James Ensor and other modern masters.
This is the official ticket, sold by the museum itself. It includes the permanent collection, temporary exhibitions as capacity allows, free lockers, Wi-Fi and the museum app.
Rubens House in the morning, lunch on the Meir, then tram or walk south to the KMSKA. On Wednesdays, when the Rubens House is closed, make the KMSKA your Rubens day. On most Thursdays the museum stays open until 22:00.
